CASA MORJE
MORJIM, GOA
Nestled in the lush picturesque Morjim village, Casa Morje draws inspiration from the rich tropical landscape of the village.
The villa’s design is influenced by the tranquil scenery and textures of the village while blending effortlessly with its verdant surroundings.
The neutral exterior palette serves as a canvas, harmonizing the architecture with the tropical foliage of the village. From the consciously designed façade to the intricately crafted interiors, each element is thoughtfully curated to enhance the spatial experience.
Casa Morje seamlessly blurs the boundaries between the built and the unbuilt offering an indulgent experience of serenity and luxury.
The old walls have been carefully conserved and restored to its original character where needed and are rendered with smooth plaster only on some of its internal walls.
The material palette is very simple, earthy and locally sourced comprising of laterite stone, polished cement floors, timber and paint. The furniture and decor is a mix of minimal design, found objects and up cycled products.
